What is a token?
Tokens are the credits that pay for work on FORGE. Building a page, making an edit, writing content: each one spends some.
How do I know what I’ve spent?
Every spend is its own line on your account, showing what was done, which ticket it was for and how many tokens it took. Nothing is lumped into one total, so you can check any charge. If a line looks wrong, tell us and we’ll put it right.
Do tokens pay for people as well as the AI?
Yes. The AI does most of the work. Sometimes one of our builders steps in, usually to tighten a request or check the result before it goes live. That time is paid in tokens too, and it shows on the same itemised lines. You never get a separate bill.
What happens when I raise a ticket?
Tokens come off as the work is done, and the ticket shows the total when it’s finished. A clear ticket costs less: the less a builder has to ask or rewrite, the fewer tokens it takes.
Do bug fixes cost tokens?
Not if the bug is ours. If something we built doesn’t work as it should, raise a bug ticket and we fix it free. Changing how something works, or adding something new, is new work and uses tokens.
Do unused tokens roll over?
Yes, on every plan. Anything you don’t use this month carries into the next.
How long do tokens last?
12 months from the day they reach your account, and we spend your oldest first. Our tokens mirror the AI capacity we buy from our suppliers, which also lasts a year. The full rules are in our terms.
What if I run out mid-month?
Top up in a click at your plan’s rate: £40 per 1M on Free, £20 on Studio.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Plans run month to month. Cancel any time, and your tokens stay usable until they expire.
Do I pay to have my website built?
No. We build you a fully functioning website for free, before you pay anything. On Studio it stays part of the plan, with no build fee.
